Autism Evaluation

How It Works

  • Step 1

Contact us via email or through our contacts page. A team member will respond within 48 business hours. During the phone call, a team member will collect some basic information from you. After the phone call you will be directed to fill out client paperwork. You will receive an email with a link.

  • Step 2

You will follow the link to complete all of the client intake paperwork. An evaluation cannot be conducted without all of the intake forms completed. Then, a member of our team will reach out to set up an evaluation appointment and collect a deposit to secure the time and day.

  • Step 3

You may be asked to bring additional paperwork or forms. When you arrive, you will check-in at the kiosk and the examiner will greet you in the lobby. The evaluation typically lasts one hour. Electronics are not permitted during the evaluation. Once the evaluation is complete, you will check out with the examiner. The examiner will speak with the caregiver to gather any additional information needed. The final payment will be processed at this time.

  • Step 4

Within one week, the examiner will write the comprehensive diagnostic evaluation. The examiner will contact you to review the report prior to sending it to the diagnosing doctor. Your child’s diagnosing doctor will review and sign off on the report. Once the evaluator has received the signed report from the doctor, they will call with follow up information.

The Evaluation

  • The evaluation consists of collecting information from a caregiver during a phone call. The evaluator will review all intake forms (client medical history, client communication level, and family medical history). The evaluator may request additional reports from speech, OT, PT or other related services. The evaluator will complete an ADOS-2 assessment. In addition to the ADOS-2 the evaluator will conduct an additional assessment (such as the CARS). The evaluator will meet with the caregiver following the assessments to gather any additional information. The evaluator will write up a comprehensive report to submit to the referring physician.
