We use the Early Denver Start Model for ages 1-4. The (ESDM) is a behavioral therapy for children with autism and it is based on the methods of applied behavior analysis (ABA).

ESDM has been found to be effective for children with a wide range of learning styles and abilities in addition to with an autism spectrum diagnosis. The ESDM is based is therapy based on playing with the child.

Through play and joint activities, the child is encouraged to boost language, social skills, cognitive skills, prerequisite school skills, and independent play skills. We also train functional communication skills through play by requesting and labeling items.

We work with a children with various diagnoses to increase communication, socialization, and decrease challenging behaviors.

Collaboration: The BCBA can support your child in daycare to treat, observe and collaborate with the staff. The BCBA can also collaborate with your child’s SLP, PT or OT when needed to ensure we treat your child using a collaborative approach.
